Are you currently a qualified fitness / personal trainer? (REPS Irl Level 4/ REPS UK Level 3) and want a Pilates education that is Internationally accredited and recognized and meets the the standards as set down by EFRA and REPS
Level 3 Mat Instructor (CYQ centrally YMCA qualification) Internationally accredited CYQ Certificate and PPA Diploma in Mat Pilates from beginner to advanced/personal training and fit circle module
these qualifications enable you to:
  • Group Mat classes from beginner to advanced levels
  • Utilize small props for modification / progressions
  • Progressive Mat sessions for individual clients
  • Progressive Mat sessions with modifications for postural dysfunctions
  • Progressive Mat sessions with modifications / progressions for PRE-hab sessions to prevent injury

Are you currently a movement instructor? (basic fitness / yoga / dance etc with A&P) and wish to add Pilates to your current skill base.  This inital certifiate is renewed every 2 years by attaining 16 hours of up-skilling in Pilates education.
PPA-Level I/II Mat Instructor (CThA complementary therapists Ass UK accredited)
this qualification will enable you to:
  • Group Mat classes for beginner to intermediate levels
  • Progressive Mat classes with modifications / progressions to address ability and capability of the clients
After 100 teaching hours you may attend a conversion course to attain your CYQ Certificate Mat Level 3 and PPA Diploma (subject to meeting / passing assessment criteria

Are you currently a qualified Pilates Mat Level 1 or Level I/II instructor?
A 2 day CYQ conversion course is available – this will enable you to take CYQ assessments (theory paper, worksheets and case study) to attain the CYQ Level 3 Certificate and the PPA Diploma
Are you currently a qualified Pilates Mat Level III instructor?
A 1 day CYQ conversion course is available – this will enable you to take CYQ assessments (theory paper, worksheets and case study) to attain the CYQ Level 3 Certificate and the PPA Diploma

Hi folks — its workshop time again.

We kick off on August 6th with a taster of the effect Kettlebells can have on our Pilates classes.

This fantastic (low cost ) piece of equiptment can help our clients burn a whopping 20 calories per minute. Imagine in your 1 hour class if you put a small Kettlebell routine in for 30 minutes your clients would burn 600 calories !!! how fantastic is that

A little bit of me time on a Friday !!!

Hi everyone – ok its not sunny but it is still a wonderful day.

How about taking a few minutes today for your self and experience the benefits of 360° Pilates. Here is a little routine I have just completed earlier this morning  I hope you feel as good following it as I do.

Breath deeply as you perform each movement – clear your mind and give YOURSELF

  • Standing breath – 10 rounds of breating circling the arms
  • Forward bend – just hang and enjoy for 2 minutes breath into any tight spots
  • Cat to camel – 10 rounds to loosen up that tired spine
  • Swan dive – just hold it here and breath – 1 to 2 minutes
  • Hundred – just hold and feel the breath going wide and full 1 to 2 minutes
  • Rolling ball – stretch and massage your spine 1 minute
  • Saw – dont forget to honor centre as you rotate from side to side 1 mintue
  • Mermaid 3 repitations but hold each one in strech for 30seconds
  • Star  - hold for up to 1 minute (if you get tired go onto your forearm )
  • Repeat on opposite side
  • Plank – hold for 1 to 2 minutes (again if you tire go to forearms)
  • Now just sit and breath for up to 5 minutes clear your mind

Yin and yang movements are necessary and supplement each other of our mental and physical wellbeing

In our yin practice we will focus on postures that will gently stretch and rehabilitate the meridian fascia tissues ( connective tissue) and joints
While in our yang Pilates practice we will focus on muscular strength and tone

For persons who have over 2 years of Pilates experience in the Pilates Method training with a qualified Pilates Instructors

This course is run over 6 days (2 day weekend for 3 months)

Anatomy and Physiology is a requirement for insurance and can be taken on line (this is a small separate expense to course cost)
