Level 1 Certificate in teaching Kettlebell Fitness
Learn about this Russian training system from the 1700s. A canon ball with handles – that allows you to burn 20 calories approx per minute ! (scientifically proven) Metabolic resistance training utilizing 3D movement patterns that will burn fat, create lean muscle mass, lose inches.

- The syllabus covers Level 1 Kettlebell movements for teaching group clients.
- Theory of Kettlebell training
- Theory and practical in the technique of KB basic lifts/push/pull
- Class set up and dynamic
- Progressions/modifications and contraindications
- The assessment can be sat at the end of the course or submitted by DVD (within 4 weeks of course date) – the assessment consists of a minimum about of movements within a given time – demonstrating technique/control /safety

A popular workshop that you will learn to design a safe and creative traditional Pilates and non Pilates based program.
We will look at the anatomical and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. You will gain an understanding of the common musculoskeletal changes that occur and how these can affect the posture, strength and wellbeing of your pre-natal client. Develop protocols to support and prepare your client for the challenges of pregnancy.

Why do so few men come to Pilates and the ones that do are totally committed. We will look at the bio-mechanical characteristics unique to men, how they affect them in the activities/ sports they love to participate in, football soccer, rugby, golf, running, cyclying etc. We will look at both Pilates and non Pilates moves that will draw the male attention and make them realize the powerful connection that Pilates can have on their well being and sports. Tune up your Spine building a strong and supple spine to move with ease and power.
Most people do not even consider their spine; they remain unaware of the effects of how they lift, move, push, pull and even sit on their spine and how it may affect their well being.
Core training is so much more than the abdominals. We will look at client analysis, mid line stabilization and movement protocols to develop spine-centered movement sequences that will promote optimal functional movement, flexibility, mobility and ease of movement.
Spinal conditions osteoporosis and scoliosis will also be discussed
