<p>Learn about this Russian training system from the 1700s. A canon ball with handles &#8211; that allows you to burn 20 calories approx  per minute ! (scientifically proven)  Metabolic resistance training utilizing 3D movement patterns that will burn fat, create lean muscle mass, lose inches.<strong><br />

Can you believe we are in Autumn already!! where did the summer go ?<br />
We graduated quite a few new Pilates Teachers this year so far and are very happy to have had the possibility to work with such a diverse group of people!<br />
As always as a new junior instructor be aware of working within your scope of practice<br />
If  you know someone that interested in getting certified to become a Pilates Teacher or would simply think about taking their practice to the next level, our next training programs start in Sept 2011.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As you may be aware we have exciting news our <span style="color: #ff6600;">Pilates Mat course is now CYQ </span>approved &#8211; what does this mean to you &#8211; well<br />
it is  truly professional qualification that will make you stand out from the crowd.<br />
<span style="color: #ff6600;">Conversion courses</span> are available for all Level I/II and Level III instructors.</p>
<p>For those of you working within the Fitness Industry this Level 3 qualification is the highest in Pilates that can be achieved under the<br />
European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA) and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) in the UK</p>
<p>As you will see from our web we have <span style="color: #ff6600;">exciting master classes and workshops</span> for the Autumn / Winter schedule<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Folks you know me I am always harping on about Instructors needing to find time every day for their own personal practice. And at every workshop you keep telling me that you are all too busy to practice !!!</p>
<p>Well for the last few weeks I have gone through this very simple but challenging routine and it <span style="color: #ff0000;">takes approx 20-25 minutes and its laced with all the components necessary to keep up our skills as Pilates Instructors </span></p>
<p>I thought why not share it and<strong> lets all do it from now till the 14th of Dec</strong> (so you can enjoy Christmas week !)</p>
<p>So from Wed 24th of Nov &#8211; why not give this little routine a go do it every 2nd day &#8211; and update us with your feed back.</p>
<ul>
<li>Standing tall breathing</li>
<li>Standing Ballet swings                  50 each leg &#8211; arms at 1st</li>
<li>Roll down to plank &#8211; back to elephant back to standing 10 reps</li>
<li>Rolling press up to star -( ie press up to star on right back to press up star on left) &#8211; 1 rep -= 1 rotation of all 3 ! &#8211;  25 rotations</li>
<li>100 extended and lowered to 45 degrees holding for 2 minutes</li>
<li>Rollups  50 reps</li>
<li>Saw 25 pairs</li>
<li>Cat to Camel 20 reps (mobility not stretch)</li>
<li>Air Chair (in a squat against the wall) build from 2 to 5 mins</li>
</ul>
<p>Cool down supine frog for hip openers 2 &#8211; 5 mins (time depending)</p>
<p>If you fancy a change you can swop Double leg lower and lift for 100</p>
<p>and 50 Teasers for Roll up !</p>
<p>or do half and half 25 teasers /25 roll ups</p>
